Wednesday nights belong to the high school youth. Youth Night is the weekly program for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Our Freshman group is called, "Teen Talk." The Sophomores are called, "Catholics In Action." Our Juniors and Seniors who have been Confirmed are called, "Young Apostles."
We have an incredible high school Confirmation program. Our confirmation retreat is an amazing life-changing event for many who participate.
We participate in our diocesan service camp called,
"Camp Fort Worth"
every year and try to encourage our youth to put their faith in action by helping those in need.
We attend conferences such as DCYC (Diocesan Catholic Youth Conference), Region X Youth Conference, and NCYC (National Catholic Youth Conference).
We are active in our parish community. Many youth are involved as liturgical ministries such as altar servers, lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, choir members, ushers and greeters. We cohost the annual All Saints Festival which is a free festival for kids of all ages. The youth host several carnival-style activities and pass out free candy to the participants.
We have the greatest youth! We also have the greatest volunteer youth ministers. We are proud of our parish youth program and we are:
PROUD TO BE CATHOLIC!!!
